Ntuthuko Shezi

CEO (Chief Executive Officer)

“I grew up in a rural area and my grandparents owned a couple of cows. The cows were the bedrock of my family’s finances and that got me thinking, cattle are like a walking bank and we see ourselves as the bank of the future, where every person who owns a cow can access financial services through Livestock Wealth, just like it has always been in Africa.”

How it Works

I am not in South Africa. Can I also invest?

Yes, you can invest from anywhere in the world, as long as you are able to transact using the available payment methods on our platform and have a bank account into which withdrawn profits can be paid out when the time arises. We accept Credit Card, EFT and Direct Bank Transfer.

How do I receive profits or get paid out at the end of the term?

At the end of the term, you no longer own the asset as the farmer has bought it back from you. You can choose to reinvest in another asset or collect your return, paid out into your bank account.

Is my return or profit guaranteed?

Yes, the profits we advertise are guaranteed as the assets are insured by the farmer.

What happens if my asset dies or is damaged?

In the event that something happens to your asset, it will be replaced at no extra charge.

How do I invest?

To start investing, you’ll need to create a free account on our Farmbook™ web & mobile app. You can register here.

We accept Credit Card, EFT and Direct Bank Transfer.

What happens when my asset matures?

The farmer buys back the asset once it has fully grown at harvest. You, the investor, make a profit from the sale. Your return (initial investment + profit) can be reinvested in one of our assets or you can be paid out into your bank account.

Do I still own my asset after the investment term has completed?

No. The farmer buys back the asset once it has fully grown at harvest. You, the investor, make a profit from the sale. Your return (initial investment + profit) can be reinvested in one of our assets or you can be paid out into your bank account.

Is there a limit to the number of assets I can invest in?

No. You may buy as many as you are able. Our entry level investment product is a Macadamia Nut Tree with a once-off investment of R2000. It’s also also offers the highest return on investment percentage of a whopping 95%-105%. After 6 years, when the investment matures, you will get back your investment of R2000 plus a huge profit of R2,163.95

Farming

Where are your farms?

We have several partner-farmers around South Africa. Some of our partner farms are located in:

  • Lichtenburg, North West
  • Durban, KZN
  • Matatiele, KZN
  • Kokstad, KZN
  • Richmond, KZN
  • Venda, Limpopo
  • Senekal, Free State

May I go see my cow/garden/tree?

For security and safety reasons, ad hoc are not permitted. Livestock Wealth hosts annual events at the farms to which investors are invited.

Is your farming ethical?

Our Free Range Ox and Pregnant Cows are grass fed and hormone free. Our Macadamia nut trees and connected gardens are grown organically with no harmful pesticides or chemicals.

How do I become a partner farmer?

We are always looking to partner with farmers that can farm Pregnant Cows, Free Range Ox, Herbs, and Macadamia Trees. For more information go to our farmers page.

Why do farmers need investors?

Farmers have the skills to grow assets but they may need more working capital. Banks and conventional funding methods do not accept growing crops as collateral. Livestock Wealth finds investors for farmers, helping them to access capital whilst their livestock grows.

Why do investors need farmers?

We provide a service to investors who may not have the skills nor the time to farm for themselves. We enlist the qualified farmers to take care of our investors assets and work towards our projected returns.
