Vryheid (Fairplay): 17 January 2017 Update

The Fairplay farm is set along the banks of the Blood River, Vryheid Northern KwaZulu-Natal. Its boundary and source of water is a stone throw from the historical Battle of Blood River. The farm is 680 hectares and has a man-made dam on the river that is shared with two other farms. The farm is owned by Bill van Lelyveld – a seasoned cattle farmer who is also a member of our team.

When we get that approval from the Mayor, we will on the same day also change the name of the square from Gandhi to Livestock Square.

To celebrate, we managed to find the cheapest South African red wine at the Tesco supermarket in Woolwich Arsenal for a £6.99 (much higher than the £1.99 for the same bottle in SA).
